See the nursery before you buy the crib

Take one photo of the room as it is today. Nursery Design puts the paint, the crib and the whole style into that exact space, so you are choosing from your room instead of someone else's Pinterest board.

No account needed to read the guides. Android version in the works.

A beige spare bedroom on the left and the same room on the right after being designed as a nursery with a white crib, dresser and glider
Same room, same window, same floor. Only the plan changed.

Three steps, about a minute

01

Photograph the room

Stand in the doorway and get the whole room in frame. Daylight helps. Clutter is fine, the app can remove it.

02

Pick who it is for and the style

Newborn, toddler, twins, shared, small space. Then one of ten styles, or upload a room you already liked.

03

Compare and save

Generate a few versions, keep them side by side, and send the one that wins to whoever is holding the drill.

Six things it does to a photo

Most nursery apps only do one big transformation. The point of the smaller tools is that you rarely need to redo the whole room, you need to see one change.

Redesign the whole room

Redesign the whole room

One photo in, a finished nursery out. Walls, floor, furniture and decor, in the room you actually have.

Swap the furniture

Swap the furniture

Keep the room, change the crib. Useful when you inherited a dresser and want to know what it can live with.

Clear the clutter

Clear the clutter

Strip boxes, laundry and old furniture out of the photo so you can see the room instead of the mess.

Repaint and try wallpaper

Repaint and try wallpaper

Test a color on your real wall, in your real light, before you buy four sample pots.

Copy a room you liked

Copy a room you liked

Upload the picture you saved on Pinterest and apply that look to your room instead of guessing.

Questions people actually ask

If yours is not here, the guides cover most of it. Nothing on this site needs the app.

Do I need a finished room to use the app? +
No. An empty room, a room full of boxes, or a spare bedroom that still has a desk in it all work. The app can clear objects out of the photo first. If the room does not exist yet, describe it in words instead.
Are the renders accurate enough to buy furniture from? +
Treat them as mood, not measurements. The renders keep your walls, windows and proportions, which is enough to rule out a color or a layout. For anything that has to fit to the inch, use the layout planner and a tape measure.
Is it free? +
The app is free to download and includes free designs to start. There is a paid tier for unlimited generations. Everything on this site is free and does not need the app.
Is there an Android version? +
Not yet. The iPhone version is live and Android is being built. The guides, the layout planner and the checklist on this site work in any browser.
